Jason Bonham Review 5/6

Jason Bonham's LED ZEPPELIN EXPERIENCE:

An absolute ROCKIN' experience for me, for sure!

Opened with Rock N' Roll! Closed with Kashmir! WOW!

Lots of vintage Zeppelin selections! Deep cuts--Long cuts!

By the magic of 2011 technology: A drum solo duet between Bonhams, father & son! (Moby Dick)*

GREAT big screen home movie presentation featuring a young "Bonzo"and even younger Jason growing up Zeppelin! Rare family home movies narrated by Jason center stage!

Awesome Large screen effects of psychedelia and colors depending on the album and or cut featured!

The band was absolutely tight and the lead guitarist looked like a late 1960's era Jimmy Page!

GREAT lead vocalist! Intimate venue/The Music Box! TOTALLY enjoyable!

Showcased the legendary songwriting skills of the original Zeppelin players!

I REALLY felt like I was taken back in a Zeppelin time machine! It was like watching the LED ZEPPELIN in concert 1971..LOVED it! I would GO again! A

Stevie Nicks CANCELLED**

STEVIE NICKS CANCELS PERFORMANCE AT BORGATA RESORT HOTEL

Rock's Reigning Queen Suffering From Pneumonia
For Immediate Release – (Philadelphia, PA – May 4, 2011 ) – Stevie Nicks, whose highly anticipated new CD "In Your Dreams" - released yesterday, May 3, has had to cancel her Borgata Resort Hotel concert Friday, May 6 and several other appearances on the east coast due to coming down with pneumonia and the flu. Her doctor informed her over the weekend that she needed to "stay in bed and not fly" until she gets better. Nicks was scheduled to perform at a star studded event thrown in her honor by her record label Reprise Records at New York's Webster Hall and was also planning on appearing on the Today Show and Good Day New York.
"I want to apologize to all my fans and hope that we can reschedule and of course I hope you love the new album. It’s for you,” commented Nicks.
“The gypsy queen is in royal form on “In Your Dreams” — it's not just her first album in 10 years, it's her finest collection of songs since the Eighties,” commented Rolling Stone in its review of Nicks’ new CD.
Refunds are available starting tomorrow, Thursday, May 5 at point of purchase.

NEW Stevie Nicks release REVIEW

IN YOUR DREAMS: Release Date 5/3/11

I'm trying REALLY hard to like this....but.......

Very down, storytelling and melodic

Track 3: In Your Dreams sounds MOST like Fleetwood Mac (Gypsy)*

Track 6: Moonlight (A Vampire's Dream); best showcases her signature Stevie vocal tones.

Track 10: a ROCKER! My favorite>Ghosts Are Gone! Has a plugged in guitar in it!!!!!

Track 13: Cheaper Than Free (a duet w/Dave Stewart)>a country' twang in there???? Maybe she'll get airplay on those stations?

Producers: Top of the line** Dave Stewart (Eurythmics fame), Mike Campbell (one of Tom Petty's longtime Heartbreakers) and Glen Ballard..(anyone remember his 80's smash On The Rebound)? I will ALWAYS LOVE Stevie although her sound isn't electric enough for me.

Go Killer B's

..I've said it before, I'll say again: NOTHING beats the speed and excitement of Stanley Cup playoff action..
